All duties are to be performed at NOVA IMS facilities in Lisbon, Portugal. Teaching Areas

The successful candidate will be expected to design and deliver courses related to one or more of the following areas:

Teaching will take place at both undergraduate and graduate (Master’s/PhD) levels, and may be delivered entirely in English.

Required Qualifications

To be considered, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • A PhD or doctoral degree from a recognised university in a relevant field (Risk Management, Finance, Actuarial Science, Quantitative Methods, or closely related discipline)
  • An excellent scientific record demonstrated through publications in internationally recognised, top-ranked journals
  • Strong didactic and teaching skills, with proven experience teaching at undergraduate and graduate levels
  • Capacity to lead pedagogical innovation and manage academic programmes
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
  • Ability to teach entirely in English
  • A collaborative, initiative-driven approach with the ability to work in an interdisciplinary environment
